DiFiore Construction History

The present DiFiore Construction is in its fourth generation as a family owned business.
Max DiFiore began in the construction industry as an independent trucker working around the Springfield Ohio area. He purchased his first truck in 1919.
In the 1940’s and 1950’s Max DiFiore worked several 10 wheel dump truck and trailers supplying sand and gravel to contractors and suppliers in the Rochester area.
In the late 50’s he expanded to street and sewer construction. The site excavation in rock for the present Rochester war memorial was done by Max DiFiore & Sons. Max DiFiore & Sons incorporated in 1958 at which time Foster and Ralph DiFiore become active in the family business.
The company is presently owned by Foster DiFiore who serves as CEO. Brian DiFiore, Michael DiFiore, & Kris Bissnette (DiFiore) are the fourth generation in the business. David Bissnette joined the family business in 2005.
The Business is built upon family values. It draws strength from the bonds that develop when each member of the firm has a respect and concern for the personal and financial well being of the DiFiore Construction business.
